The complainant applied for a commercial electricity connection.
All formalities were completed and FDR/security deposit was submitted on 21-11-2025.
As per the J&K Electricity Supply Code, the Power Supply Agreement must be generated within the stipulated time after submission of FDR.
Despite expiry of the statutory period, the agreement has not been generated till date.
The delay has caused financial loss and obstruction in starting the commercial establishment.

Deficiency in service
Arbitrary delay without justification.

The complainant has had to pay multiple visits to the concerned Office at Pampore but has been denied the service and has noted the employees engaging in cigarette smoking at the office during working hours.
The complainant respectfully prays that this Hon’ble Forum may be pleased to:
Direct the respondent to immediately generate the Power Supply Agreement
Grant compensation for delay and harassment
Pass any other order deemed fit in the interest of justice.
