Subject: Request to cut fig tree branches near electricity post

Respected Sir

I am a resident of Nilaya street shanmugapuram . In front of my house there is an electricity post. Next to this post there is a fig tree which has grown tall. The upper branches of this tree are touching the electricity wires connected to the post.

This situation is creating continuous problems and is also dangerous. During heavy wind and rainfall the branches shake and rub against the wires. This can cause power cut short circuit or even fire accident. Children and pedestrians passing near this post are also at risk if the wires get damaged. Vehicles moving on the road also face danger if the wires fall due to the tree branches. The tree has now grown more and the problem is becoming worse day by day.

For the safety of the residents of this area and for maintaining regular electricity supply I kindly request the department to cut and clear the branches of the fig tree which are touching the wires. This will prevent accidents and avoid future damage.

I request you to take necessary action at the earliest.
