I. In-principle approval for installation of D.G set

• Letter requesting approval for installation of D.G set with - at office of the Executive Engineer - Operation and Maintenance
  • Details/capacity of proposed D.G set
  • Copy of CC Bill and Receipt
  • Single Line Diagram.
  • Details of connected load.
  • Details of proposed interlock arrangement
• Processing Fees ₹ 2500 - to be remitted at office of the Executive Engineer - Operation and Maintenance
• Application forwarded to Junior Engineer - Operation and Maintenance throu' Assistant Engineer - Operation and Maintenance
• Inspection by Executive Engineer - Operation and Maintenance, and Assistant Engineer - Operation and Maintenance.
• Field report submitted to Executive Engineer - Operation and Maintenance
• EE office field report submitted to Superintending Engineer - Operation and Maintenance
• Scrutiny
• In-principle approval issued to the applicant/consumer with conditions/required documents for issue of commissioning approval.
• D.G set installation throu' licensed Electrical Contractor

II. Regular/Commissioning approval for installation of D.G set

• Application/Letter requesting regular approval with- at office of the Executive Engineer - Operation and Maintenance
  • Manufacturer's test report and Work completion certificate/report of the consumer for engine and alternator.
  • CEA Approval
  • Single Line Diagram.
  • Completion certificate issued by the licensed grade 'A' Electrical contractor for any addition / alteration /modification carried out in the internal electrical installation within the premises
  • Details of Interlocking System
  • No Dues Certificate/Copy of CC bill, receipt
  • Itemwise connected load details of all Machineries /Equipments etc.
  • Details of connected load to be connected to the D.G set
• Processing charges Rs. 2500.
• Application forwarded to Junior Engineer - Operation and Maintenance
• Inspection by Junior Engineer - Operation and Maintenance, and Assistant Engineer - Operation and Maintenance
• Field report submitted to Executive Engineer - Operation and Maintenance,
• EE office field report submitted to Superintending Engineer - Operation and Maintenance,
• Scrutiny
• Regular approval for commissioning the D.G set issued by Superintending Engineer - Operation and Maintenance,
