On examination of your representation with reference to the facts available, it is found that a violation of the Terms and Conditions of Supply of Electricity has been Committed as described before:-

2. The compensation charges payable by you is worked out as Rs. ………………… (Rupees ……………………..). The detailed working sheet is enclosed. You are permitted to pay this amount in four installments as shown below:-

3. * As the service connection is a live one, the same will be disconnected in case you do not pay the above amounts on or before the above dates.

* As your service connection has been disconnected, please note that reconnection will be made on removal of the violation and on payment of the first installment besides the reconnection charges. If you seek reconnection after the due dates for payment of the respective installments, you should pay the defaulted installments besides the belated payment surcharge thereon till the date of payment.

4. Please note that failure to pay any of the installments on or before the due date will result in disconnection of power supply to your service connection without any further notice.

5. If you choose to prefer an appeal against this order, you may appeal to the appellate authority (viz. Superintending Engineer ………………… O & M circle /Principal Engineer) ……………… within 60 days from the date of receipt of this notice after paying at least two installments.

6. You are requested to acknowledge receipt of this letter immediately.

He is instructed :-

to arrange to serve the letter with enclosure on the consumer under dated acknowledgement and send the acknowledge to this office ; and

to disconnect the service connection in case the consumer does not pay the amount as indicated in the schedule of payment overleaf and also promptly report the fact of having done so.

If, after disconnection of the service connection, the consumer pays the installment, belated Surcharge till the date of payment and also the reconnection charges, the service connection should be reconnected and the fact of reconnection should be intimated promptly to this office and also to the concerned Revenue Branch.
