Today a person named Nagaraj stated he's a lineman came in uniform to my home
Infront of my home lies a streetlight which is working fine
He stated that he wanted to check the continuity to other street lights
He continuously pressed the doorbell before I could even see who's come
When I asked him gently to press doorbell once as it was irritating to continuously hearing it
He started yelling at me and he also stepped into my home to check and wanted me to keep my home open until his work was over
Along with him came another person in white shirt who joined along with him and started verbally abusing and harassing stating they'll break my rainwater pipe and also verbally abused regarding my father as well and make issues in electricity lines and I'll have to come pleading to them in that case which I found was too much of misuse of power
I've cctv recordings of the whole scenario
I can download and send incase it's needed
This was very much unacceptable
And moreover in past 3 years there had been more than 4 events where the streetlight was off and not even onetime I was able to see him repairing and neither I've seen him here in my area
I really don't feel comfortable people without revealing their identity stepping into my house where elders were scared today
I would like to escalate this issue to the senior officer
As well as when I asked why couldn't it be done from outside streetview in that vehicle used to repair streetlights he started yelling quoting you've to open house whenever we come irrespective of my work timings saying he's public servant
Even I'm from medical background working as a doctor found it very much Disheartening to see people like him
I do not want to face any more disturbing events in future and henceforth writing this email
